Kay Adams Sold on Howell Being a Franchise QB | Washington Commanders

After the Commanders second win with QB Sam Howell under center, fans are in a holding pattern when it comes to voicing their excitement with their new starting QB.


Howell went 9/12 for 77 passing yards and 1 TD vs Cleveland, he followed that up going 19/25 for 188 yards and 2 TD vs Baltimore. Although he took a few sacks this preseason, he threw no interceptions and had 4 runs for 25 yards.


The host of "UP & Adams" Kay Adams had a lot of praise for Howell after visiting Commanders training camp and seeing him up close.


Howell had a impressive 3 career while at North Carolina throwing for over 10,000 yards with 92 touchdowns, in addition to running for over 800 yards and 11 touchdowns in '22.


Howell was also impressive during his time playing for Sun Valley HS and his highlights below displayed his athleticism and potential to be a franchise quarterback.
